Certified Invisalign® Provider
When it comes to getting the smile you want, you need a specially trained Redwood City Invisalign® specialist. You’ll also need an orthodontic office that has the technology and experience to handle your case. The right credentials ensure your misaligned teeth get the right treatment from a certified Invisalign dentist.

Invisalign braces, which actually aren’t really braces at all, are a series of clear aligners that correct misaligned teeth discreetly. Some people feel self-conscious when smiling with metal braces, a problem you won’t encounter with Invisalign since it’s transparent.
Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology to ensure a perfect fit. Because they’re plastic, Invisalign clear aligners don’t have the typical discomfort and weight that other patients associate with metal braces.
The 4-Step Invisalign® Treatment
Yang Orthodontics is a certified provider of Invisalign in Redwood City, CA, with plenty of experience to give you the perfect smile using just clear aligners. We’ve come up with a 4-step treatment process to give you an idea of what to expect when you get Invisalign.
1
Consultation
Dr. Yang offers free consultations with complimentary x-rays and photos. Dr. Yang will conduct a comprehensive exam and determine what your orthodontic problems are. He will then recommend a personalized treatment plan that align with your goals.
2
Personalized Treatment Plan
The treatment plan will be based on a 3D scan of your teeth. Using a 3D image, the Invisalign orthodontist will set up your teeth movements stage by stage and your aligners will be made according to these individual stages. Not all the teeth will move at the same time, so the entire process can take 10-24 months.
3
Aligner Fitting
The next step is to get your Invisalign aligners, although some people still call them Invisalign braces. The first time you put your clear aligners on, the orthodontist will check if they fit comfortably. You’ll know they’re ill-fitting if they scrape against your gums or cheeks or if they’re too tight or loose. In such cases, we’ll be able to quickly adjust them at chairside and you’ll be on your way. All you have to do is wear your aligners for at least 21 hours each day and come in for your regular check-ups.
4
Check-up and Maintenance
This last step is vital to keeping your treatment on track. You’ll need to change your aligners every one to two weeks and also come in for a checkups every six to ten weeks to see if your treatment is going well or if alterations are necessary. Don’t forget to maintain good oral hygiene; brush your teeth and your aligners thoroughly at least twice a day.
