Your First Visit at Yang Orthodontics

Your first visit to Yang Orthodontics is the most important step towards improving your smile.  We know choosing an orthodontist is a big decision. Your consultation allows us to learn about your orthodontic needs and gives you the opportunity to ask questions, check out our practice, and get to know our wonderful team.

Here’s what you can expect during your 60-minute complimentary consultation:

A Warm Welcome and Paperwork

You’ll receive a warm welcome when you arrive, and we’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork regarding your health history. Then we’ll give you a quick tour of our office before taking you back to our state-of-the-art treatment area to begin your exam.

Exam and Imaging

During your exam, one of our orthodontic specialists will take photos and  x-rays to help us understand your orthodontic needs. Every patient’s condition is unique and requires a custom treatment plan. Following imaging, Dr. Yang will conduct a thorough examination and discuss the following areas with you:

•   Is there an orthodontic problem?
•   Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until a later date?
•   Can Invisalign or Clear Braces be used to correct the problem?
•   Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
•   How long will treatment take?

Please do not hesitate to ask Dr. Yang any other questions you may have.

Potential Treatment Options

After Dr. Yang has answered all your questions, our treatment coordinator, Silvia, will sit down with you to explain additional details of your treatment options, as well as costs involved, payment options, and insurance benefits. She will also help schedule your next exam to help get you started on your journey to a beautiful new smile.

Again, we encourage you to ask questions at any time throughout your consultation. We want to make sure that before leaving our office you fully understand your specific needs, what the treatment will consist of, and how long it will take.

Please assist us by providing the following information when you arrive for your complimentary exam:
