Round up your family or friends for a spooktacular Scavenger Hunt through Redwood City and San Carlos!

Teams of 2–7 players will follow clues, tackle crazy challenges, snap photos, and test their knowledge of local trivia! Some challenges will ask you to submit a photo of your team completing a silly task, while others will send you to specific locations to answer questions or uncover clues. The first three teams to complete all the challenges and return to the starting area before 12 p.m. will win special prizes!

Every team will receive Halloween treats and enjoy a morning packed with fun!

To Play, Your Team Will Need:

  • 1 Phone with Camera & Text Messaging
  • Pen or Pencil
  • Completed waiver form
  • Car or Other Transportation
  • Sense of Humor
  • Good walking shoes

Important Notes:

  1. All participants must submit a completed waiver form.
  2. Teams are encouraged to check in early.  Check-in opens at 9:30 am. Scavenger hunt begins at 10 am.
  3. To spread out teams and ensure locations do not get crowded, teams may solve clues in any order.
  4. Teammates must stay together and complete each clue together.

Heads up — every player under 18 will additionally need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver in step 2.

Sign the waiver

Required for every participant — adults included. Pick the option below that matches each person, then repeat for each member of your team.

Every player must sign a waiver before the hunt, no exceptions — adults sign for themselves, and players under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign as well.
